| In 2008, a group of individuals dedicated to honor the life of Deputy Maria Cecilia Rosa formed the Maria Cecilia Rosa Memorial Foundation (MCRMF), a non-profit organization designed to keep the memory of Deputy Rosa alive so that we may never forget the ultimate sacrifice she made March 28th, 2006, when she was tragically murdered, in Long Beach, California. This Foundation plans to fund educational scholarships which will be given to female students with the same academic goals and dedication to furthering education as Deputy Rosa Did. |
